Das Gasthaus Hotel Krone wurde im Jahre 1734 erbaut. (Damals wurden zum Bau des Hauses120 Eichen und 160 Tannen verarbeitet.) Zuletzt wurde das Gebäude von1993 -1996 mit ökologischen Baustoffen kernsaniert. Folgende Materialien kamen dabei zur Anwendung: Holz (Behandlung mit Öl, Wachs oder biologischer Lasur.), Fermacell, Holzdämmplatten Rigips, Baumwolle, Steinzeug, Kork, Perlite, Ytong, Biosit Edelputz. Die Böden sind aus Kork Holz und Stein- zeug. Das alte Fachwerk ist fast vollständig erhalten. Die Türen und Fenster wurden, unter Berücksichtigung der heutigen Wärmeschutzbestimmungen, sorgfältig restauriert. Zum Haus gehört ein weitläufiger Hof und ein liebevoll angelegter großer Garten.

The old inn ‘Crown’ was built in 1734 (original construction consisting of 120 oak trees and 160 pine trees). The last extensive restoration was carried out between 1993 and 1996 using only organic materials such as: wood (treated only with organic substances i.e. oil, wax or translucent), Fermacell, wooden insulation boards, plaster board, cotton, rock wool, cork, Perlite, Ytong and Biosit high-end plaster. Floor materials consist of stoneware, wood and cork. Most of the wooden frame structure of the building is still original and in very good condition. All doors and windows were upgraded to new insulation standards, considering the historic appearance of the house. The building is equipped with a modern heating system and solar collectors for warm water generation. Attached to the building there is a large yard and also a beautifully arranged garden.
